Ease of use is one of the key development mantra behind XeroRisk, and the clean, easy to use interface ensures that most users creating and maintaining risk data do not require much in the way of training. We have found from extensive experience that training of the risk co-ordinators is key to achieving a successful risk governance deployment. Each XeroRisk deployment includes a test XeroRisk installation where new features and functions are tested prior to being put into production. This installation also allows users and co-ordinators to familiarise themselves with the system, permitting them to try new techniques without disrupting the live corporate installation
Each corporate sandpit environment is the playground for exploring XeroRisk configured to match your corporate live environment. This installation is not secured through SSL or VPN tunnels, and is therefore not secure enough to use for real risk data. However, it does allow new users to familiarise themselves with the core features either before or after a training course.
As we develop new XeroRisk releases, these are placed first into the sandpit environment where risk co-ordinators and other users can check that the functionality delivered meets the business requirements. Promotion of a release from test into production is by mutual agreement of the development team and the primary risk co-ordinators.
We provide training services to give the risk co-ordinators the experience and confidence they require to fully exploit the features of XeroRisk. The training also covers the advanced configuration training including such areas as organisational groupings, which are key to giving the business a good view of the risk exposure being mitigated by subcontractors and third parties.
